We only collect what the game needs to work. We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles, and we never see your wallet keys.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is whoever runs HOODZ, an independent project. For privacy questions, contact us through the in-game Support (menu ☰ → Support).
2. What we collect
- From Telegram: your user ID, first name or username, language, and whether the bot can message you.
- Game data: your avatar, fighters, gear, streets, battles, respect, rank, balances, purchases, rewards, rankings, Battle Royale results, and your gang (name, crest, role, wars and street control).
- Chat: the messages you send in the player chat and in your gang's chat, and the reports you make.
- Support: your tickets, messages and any image you attach.
- Invites: who invited you and who you invited.
- Wallet: the TON wallet address you connect and the purchases and conversions linked to your account. Blockchain transfers are public by nature.
- Technical data: IP address, app and device type, and error reports, used for security and to fix problems.
- On your device: the game stores settings (language, sound, graphics quality) in your app's local storage. These are needed for the game to work; we don't use tracking cookies.
We don't ask for your real name, email, phone number or ID document to play. You need a Telegram account to play; without the Telegram data above the game can't work.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Running your account, battles, gangs, wars, the Battle Royale, the market, the chats and support | Contract (art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Crediting purchases and processing conversions | Contract (art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Keeping accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering records | Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Security, anti-cheat, anti-bot and anti-spam checks, chat moderation, fraud prevention | Legitimate interests: keeping the game fair and safe (art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Fixing bugs and improving the game with aggregated statistics | Legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Messages from the bot (gang alerts, replies to your support requests) | Consent (art. 6(1)(a)): you can turn gang alerts off in the game, or stop all of them by blocking the bot |
| Crediting rewards for ads you choose to watch | Contract (art. 6(1)(b)) |
Some checks are automatic (for example, the player chat blocks links and repeated messages and limits how fast you can post). We don't take decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you based only on automated processing; account sanctions are reviewed by a person.
4. What other players can see
- Your name, avatar, rank, respect, crew, best street, battle and Battle Royale results, titles and win streaks.
- Your gang, your role in it and the streets it holds. Gang chat is only visible to your gang.
- Your messages in the player chat (for 48 hours), with your name, avatar and gang tag.
- What you put up for sale on the market.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). When data is transferred, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Account and game data | While your account exists; deleted when you ask us to delete the account (except the items below) |
| Player chat messages | 48 hours, then deleted automatically |
| Gang chat and gang activity log | 14 days, then deleted automatically |
| Support tickets | While your account exists; attached images are deleted 30 days after the ticket is closed |
| Purchase and conversion records | As long as accounting and tax law requires (up to 10 years) |
| Technical logs | A short time, normally up to 30 days |
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect what was done before).
To use these rights, open a request in the in-game Support (menu ☰ → Support). We answer within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Portugal it is the CNPD, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and limits against abuse. We never ask for or store your wallet's seed phrase or private keys.
10. Age
HOODZ is for adults aged 18 or over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell you in the game about important changes.
